Re: Cardinal Joseph Zen 陳日君樞機 and Fr. John Lam 林建漢神父 Visit
I am very pleased to announce that Cardinal Joseph Zen 陳日君樞機 and Fr. John Lam 林建漢神父 will pay a visit in Vancouver from July 27, 2011 to August 1, 2011. In spite of their busy schedules, Cardinal Zen will come all the way from Hong Kong and Fr. Lam from Los Angeles to share with us the celebration of their 50 years services in the Catholic Church. Besides Vancouver, they will also visit different cities in Canada and USA including Calgary and Edmonton.
During their visits, celebrations of holy mass and the sacraments will take place in the Canadian Martyrs Church (Richmond) on Saturday afternoon, July 30 and in St. Francis Xavier Church (Vancouver) on Sunday morning, July 31. Don Bosco Alumni Association of British Columbia will also celebrate our silver jubilee since 1985 and will host a welcome dinner to Cardinal Zen and Fr. Lam in Shiang Garden Restaurant 列治文鈙香園酒家 in Richmond on Sunday evening, July 31.
